the Farm is within striking distance of all the game parks of Zululand and is three hours by road from Durban and Johannesburg. A two hour drive to the west lie the famous Drakensberg Mountains, while to the east are the gorgeous coastal attractions of Kosi Bay and the St Lucia Wetlands. Barely an hour from the Farm is the world renowned birder’s paradise of Wakkerstroom where almost 90% of South Africa’s endemic birds can be spotted. Closer to home, the bird life is incredibly rich and Trevor leads groups out to see Wattled, Blue and Crested Cranes on neighbouring farms.
